Manufacturing Techniques Used
Every bag begins with a concept. Our design team first works closely with the client to finalize the style — from classic bags to modern fashion hand bags. Detailed technical sketches and spec sheets are then created, defining every aspect including the body type, pocket placements, lining, zipper configuration, and measurements. Once the design is approved, we move to material selection, where we handpick premium leathers such as cowhide, sheepskin, or goatskin, depending on the desired softness, durability, and texture. Each hide is carefully inspected for uniform thickness, grain consistency, and natural imperfections. We also select matching accessories — metal hardware, inner linings, zippers, and thread — ensuring they complement both the design and intended function of the jacket. This stage ensures that the foundation of the product—its look, feel, and quality—is flawless before production begins.
Once materials are approved, our expert designer draft the patterns — the blueprint for every bag. Using the finalized tech pack, each part of the bag (body panels, straps, handles, piping, lining, etc.) is drawn out either by hand or digitally using CAD software. The patterns are then graded to accommodate all required sizes. The cutting process begins by carefully laying out the leather hides to maximize yield while avoiding any natural flaws or stretch marks. Precision cutting is done using industrial cutting tools or clicker presses for larger orders, while smaller runs are often cut by hand to maintain artisanal accuracy. Each piece is labeled according to its position to prevent mix-ups during stitching. The goal is to ensure a perfect fit and symmetrical structure once all components are assembled.
This stage involves the real manufacturing. The edges of thicker leather pieces are skived — thinned using specialized machines — to reduce bulk at seam junctions and give a clean, professional finish. Our tailors then move on to stitching and assembly, which is the heart of leather leather production. Using heavy-duty industrial machines with walking foot mechanisms, panels are stitched together with bonded nylon or polyester threads for superior strength. Critical areas such as straps, handles, and zippers are double-stitched or reinforced to increase durability. During assembly, each component — pockets, lining, zippers, buttons — is attached with precision. Bags are partially constructed first, then reviewed before final stitching, ensuring every seam aligns perfectly and maintains the garment’s shape and comfort.
Once the bag is fully assembled, it undergoes finishing treatments to refine its appearance and texture. Edges are burnished or painted for a smooth touch, while the leather surface may be waxed, polished, or lightly buffed to achieve the desired sheen—matte, semi-gloss, or glossy. The bags are then pressed under low heat to set their shape and structure, ensuring the body, & other components hold their form. If the order includes branding, embroidery, or printed logos, they are applied at this stage through techniques like embossing, screen printing, embroidery, or patchwork. Every detail is handled carefully to enhance the bag's overall appeal without compromising the leather’s natural feel. This step transforms a stitched product into a high-end, retail-ready bag.
